Thobolo’s Bush Lodge is ideally suited for guests to make day trips to Chobe, Linyanti and Savuti whether in your own vehicle or on professionally guided game drives with the Lodge.

 Savuti Game Drive – USD 165.00 pp (min. 4 PAX)

Day drive to Savuti: Leave the lodge after breakfast at 8:00am for a slow drive through the bush to the Ghogha Hills Entrance gate into Chobe/Savuti and on to the Savuti Channel where we stop for a picnic lunch (included). All the drives in the Savuti area undertaken at leisure along the channel and through the hills, then game drive back to Thobolo’s in time to enjoy the sunset.

Chobe River Game Drive – USD 165.00 pp (min. 4 PAX)

Depart the lodge at 8:00am and enjoy the first 10km drive to the old village of Kachikau and the beginning of the tar road. Then a 34 km drive along the tar road to the Ngoma Gate very close to the border with Namibia. In the park, you will drive through a pristine teak forest down to the famous Chobe River following the game drive roads along the river through one of the very best game areas on the continent. Stop for a picnic lunch (included) and stretch at Serondella on the banks of the river.  From the river we reconnect to the main transit tar road between Kasane, Botswana and Namibia through Chobe. Back at camp for sunset.

Linyanti Game Drive – USD 165.00 pp (min. 4 PAX)

Depart the Lodge at 8:00am and drive through Northern Botswana pristine bush to the  Linyanti River for a game drive along the river front and a picnic lunch (included) – enjoy the game and the day in this, another beautiful abundant wildlife treasure of Botswana.

Sunset Game Drive – USD 20.00 pp (min. 4 PAX)

Leave the Lodge at 4:30pm.  Provide your own refreshments from our Cash Bar.  A game drive through the surrounding bush to see what the pristine area reveals.  Stop to enjoy the sunset in the wild.  Approx. 2 hours
